In my previous post, I actually suggested either Takao Kanon or Kurosaka Yukako as a possible replacement for Shizaki Kanon for the role of Togetsu Rei and in the qualifications, I suggested it should be someone that is a classically trained pianist and have a higher pitch voice which Mai-chan both possessed. Now I'm actually excited to hear her rendition of Brave New World and since D4DJ Season 2 will be airing this coming winter 2023 it will be a fresh start for Happy Around. I apologize if I haven't posted about them though they've been announced since April 29, 2022. They are the new all-female rock band in the BanG Dream franchise called MyGO!!!!! and did 2 Live Concerts already, the 3rd one will be on November 26, 2022. There's not much information about them so far, especially the identities of the musicians/seiyuu haven't been revealed yet though Morfonica's Drummer mika actually did fill for them as a support Drummer since their Drummer isn't available at the moment due to some circumstances. I actually love the way they play and I really love their renditions of two of Poppin'Party's songs Tear Drops and Time Lapse. Their rendition of Time Lapse which was taken from their 1st live back on July 3, 2022, was uploaded to their YouTube channel a while back and Poppin'Party's lead singer Aimi actually loves it and even Twitted about it. About a month ago I made a post about the announcement of Shizaki Kanon leaving D4DJ and how sad I am about the news of her departure from the franchise, and as much as possible wanted that if they cast a new Rei they should hire an unknown in the industry just like when they hired Rimi and Saechi for the BanG Dream Project. I'm also thinking that if they decided to get someone who is already in the entertainment industry these two lovely ladies will be a fine choice. They actually came to my mind as a possible replacement for two reasons the first one is obviously both are great pianists. The second reason is both of them are acquainted with someone who worked and currently working in both BanG Dream and D4DJ Franchise. Takao Kanon actually started her career as a child piano prodigy before she pursue a career as a seiyuu in fact if you type her name on YouTube her videos playing classical pieces dated back 10 years ago will appear.
