It's nice to see these two reunited after all these years.
This might contain some spoilers for the upcoming season so feel free to skip the reading this was just the stuff I read online.
Eight years prior to the main story Shano and Airi came from the unit LynxEyes and Scarlet Canary. They were incredibly popular; however, creative differences arose among them which resulted in the unit's disbandment. Sometime later, fate would bring Shano and Airi together once more when they performed together at D4 FES.

I just included Kudō Haruka from Roselia and Suguta Hina from Morfonica in the list, though they are the only guitarist in their respective bands and though they also do riffs and soloing their style of playing leans more into the rhythm than lead playing. Also just to clarify things this is an appreciation post for the rhythm guitar players cause just like the bassist they are one of the most underrated players in a band since most of the time the lead singer or the lead guitar player of the band always got the attention.
